Return Policy for Plastic Tanks
Our tanks are custom outfitted to each order, so in general we do not accept returns. Here is why, and how the rare exception works.
Our policy
Tanks Are Not Returnable
In general, we do not accept returns. Please confirm the tank size, resin, specific gravity rating, color, fittings and options on your quote before you order.
Built to your order
Every tank is outfitted with the fittings and options you specify. A tank built for one customer is nearly impossible to resell without taking a loss.
Chemical safety
Once a tank leaves our plant, we can’t be sure it hasn’t been used to store a chemical, even briefly. Depending on the chemical, that could make the tank unusable for a future buyer.
Exceptions
If We Agree to Accept a Return
On rare occasions, Bailiff may agree to accept a return. When we do:
Return Authorization required
Every return needs a Return Authorization number issued by Bailiff before the tank ships back to us.
20% restocking fee
An approved return carries a restocking fee of 20%.
No authorization, no delivery
A tank that arrives at our plant without a Return Authorization number will not be accepted from the carrier.
