FAQ

Polypropylene Open Top Vertical Tank Questions

What sizes do Polypropylene open top vertical tanks come in?

Our Polypropylene open top vertical tank is stocked in a 150-gallon size. The table above lists its dimensions, color and price. Need a different size? Ask us; our open top cone bottom tanks come in more sizes.

Does an open top tank come with a lid?

Not as standard. A 'Shoebox Fit' removable lid is available as an option at an extra charge. It fits over the open top like the lid of a shoebox and lifts off for full access.

What does the SG rating mean?

The SG (specific gravity) rating is the heaviest liquid a tank is built to hold. Water is 1.0, so a 1.9 SG tank is made for liquids up to 1.9 times as heavy as water. Choose an SG rating at or above the specific gravity of your liquid. See our specific gravity chart.
