Dual Wall Polyethylene storage tanks are the most common
type of
dual wall plastic tanks.
Polyethylene is the most widely used
plastic resin
for making storage tanks due to its relatively low price and
good chemical compatibility. We make polyethylene
dual wall chemical storage tanks
ranging in size from 10,000 gallons down to 75 gallons. The
large sizes offer especially good values. The polyethylene
we use is HDPE. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is
sometimes referred to incorrectly as HDLPE to differentiate
it from XLPE (Crosslink Polyethylene). HDPE has great
chemical resistance and is the most commonly used plastic
for storage tanks, but sometimes it is not the best choice.

application.. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is
the most widely used due to its low cost, corrosion
resistance and good chemical compatibility. HDPE is sometimes
conveniently but incorrectly referred to as HDLPE. For
storage applications that require temperatures up to 200 F.,
we offer polypropylene storage tanks. For applications
that require temperatures up to 300 F., we offer Kynar
(PVDF) storage tanks.
