Tank Level Indicators

Two ways to know how much is in your tank: a simple mechanical reverse float gauge, or a non-contact ultrasonic sensor with a digital display and control outputs.

Reverse Float Level Indicator

Our reverse float level indicator is a simple, effective mechanical method for tracking the fill level of a storage tank.

Especially good for double wall tanks, since it does not require sidewall penetrations.

How it’s built

  • 2″ clear PVC outer pipe with an orange indicator.
  • 2″ perforated inner pipe (HDPE or PVC) with an HDPE float.
  • Double pulley arrangement in the top fittings.
  • A chemically compatible double line connects the float to the indicator.

DataView™ LI55 level display
  • EchoSonic® II ultrasonic transmitter: continuous level measurement up to 32.8′ (10 m) with a 4-20 mA output; well suited to corrosive, ultrapure, sticky or dirty liquids.
  • DataView™ LI55 level controller: displays level in gallons, liters, inches, feet, meters or percent.
  • Optional 2 or 4 programmable relays to control pumps, valves or alarms.
  • Isolated 4-20 mA repeater output for a PLC, SCADA system or another display.
  • AC or DC powered, with a NEMA 4X faceplate.
