- These POLYPROPYLENE tanks are coated with closed cell polyurethane spray-foam insulation.
- The insulation is protected with a white mastic sealant to guard against uV ray degradation.
- The insulation is rated at 6.7 R per inch. Fiberglass Batts in your home walls are between 2.2 and 4.3 R per inch.
- The standard thickness is 2″. We can optionally offer 3″ or 4″ thick insulation.

The SG (specific gravity) rating is the heaviest liquid a tank is built to hold. Water is 1.0, so a 1.9 SG tank is made for liquids up to 1.9 times as heavy as water. Choose an SG rating at or above the specific gravity of your liquid.
